Don’t leave me alone
To run away and hide
Hold my hand
Because I am afraid
Dry my eyes
If I cry too much
Kiss my cheek
And tell me that you love me
Give me a treat
When I am good
Sit with me
And read me a book
Make me pancakes
With butter and syrup
Take me to the zoo
And let me feed the animals
Don’t hit me
When I make a mistake
Don’t forget me
When I am gone
Please remember that
I am just a child in a man’s body…
