Week 44

As I make preparations for my journey I am cleaning the house and straightening things up, getting everything in order and writing this short note.

A few things from this past week:

A bushel of Chesapeake Bay Blue Crabs...first of the season. These are number 1 males steamed and seasoned with Old Bay seasoning. Crabs are eaten dipped with melted butter, vinegar, and Old Bay seasoning or simply picked and eaten. There is an art to picking crabs, some people pick and eat, and some pick and pile up the meat to eat later. Plenty of beer, iced tea, water, or soda to drink is recommended. Sides of corn on the cob along with burgers and hot dogs for the kids makes for a good party.

 

Started doing some yoga poses, never realized how invigorating it was. Learning breathing and meditation techniques along with postures from this book that was recommended to me. The book is very informative and illustrated for someone seeking the benefits for mind, body, and soul.

Never a dull moment with Ms. Virginia, she is a ball of non stop energy. She loves dancing and playing while I sing and of course has to get her squeaky toy to accompany me whenever possible. Here she is playing with a bone while I sing about Elvis.

 

Last but not least..so you'll take the high road and I'll take the low, and I'll get there before ye...
