Its week 15 and I am still alive and well, some miracles just amaze me. Its like the time when I...well I'll save that for later, anyway does anybody else have a pile of broken dollar store glasses like this one?
I don't bother buying expensive reading glasses for just this reason, they always end up broken. No matter if they cost a dollar or a hundred dollars I will break them. Sit or step on them, lay on them in my pocket, try to adjust them a little too hard, you name it I have done it. This is just one pile of the pairs that I could find. There is an art form to balancing a one armed pair of glasses on your head while trying to work...I know I'm doing it now.
Say hello to the newest addition to the menagerie. She is the most precious pup, look at her standing guard. She is a Flat Coated Retriever from a breeder in New Jersey. Her AKC registered name is "Light-Foots Love is Mysterious", but I call her Ms. Virginia...
Painted the standpipe and the deck, looking good....and finished the crab chips.
I found another pair of broken dollar store glasses, with the famous Scotch tape repair job, and a missing arm, what a classic style...
And don't overlook the DC Brau tulip glass being used as a coffee cup for morning refreshment.
And last but not least, the SS Minnow II. What's a landlubber like me going to do with this? Maybe take a three hour cruise....
