Someone Said

Some say the truth will set you free

But,
Pining for the past don’t interest me
Look to the future not far behind
Someone said about these modern times
Not only does the refugee yearn to be free
They are not the ones who are most in need
It's  the ones who have the most and lie
As they make their passage through the needle and the eye
While others toil their lives away
Like little children the rich men play
Spending coins ripped from others grief
And then whine and cry for tax relief
All the McMansions now in a row
But there's nowhere for the food to grow
So what’s the answer they tell me
Blinded by the paid for news that we are forced to see
Modify to grow the food for greed
While selling you the right to plant the seeds
They not only poisoned  the once fertile land
They own the rights to the life in your hands

So,
Put on your hat and grab your stick
Call your politician and give him some shit
Cause,

Look to the future not far behind
