She looked at him as he sat thinking
His worried look concerned her
Her continued support
Had encouraged him to move forward
And she knew what she had to do next
Or he may slip away
“its just a matter of time” she said
“what is” he asked
“until you find what you are searching for”,
“and what might that be” he replied
“I am not certain, but I have a strange
feeling whatever it is it’s not far off”
her words had always comforted him
and gave him reassurance
but until now he had only
considered her as an acquaintance
now these thoughts of desire
had made him begin to question
his ability to think rationally
and what affect her passion was having
on his ability to judge or reason
without bias towards her
as the sun began to set
on this most unusual couple
little did they know that
his suspicions were correct
someone was watching them.
