Shred It

They are having a shredding event
at the high school next week

Destroy old paper and documents
to help prevent identity theft…

From 8 AM to 2 PM rain or shine

I wonder if they will take the unwanted

memories of mine:

letters from the IRS, divorce papers,

death certificates

And let me keep the good

memories:

pictures of the kids, a birthday card from mom,

old love letters

that are left...
